Informations about your geographical location:  Wakefield is a city in West Yorkshire, England, with a rich history dating back to the 11th century. It is home to some of the most important historical buildings in the country, including Wakefield Cathedral, a Grade I listed building that was built in the 12th century; Sandal Castle, a medieval castle built in the 11th century; and Nostell Priory, a Palladian house built in the 18th century. Wakefield is also known for its gastronomic specialties, such as Yorkshire pudding, a savory dish made with eggs, flour, and milk; and rhubarb crumble, a sweet dessert made with rhubarb and topped with a crumbly pastry. Wakefield's history is closely linked to the textile industry, which began in the city in the 18th century and has since become a major part of the local economy.
